At Birthcenter One, our philosophy of family centered care gives women a positive birthing experience. We offer the type of delivery women prefer—labor, delivery and recovery in one convenient and comfortable room. When it's time to show off the new member of the family, you and your visitors enjoy a private and cozy sitting area.

The suites

Here at Medcenter One, our spacious birthing suites provide convenience, comfort, privacy, peace of mind and familiarity.

Convenience: You will be able to go through labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum (LDRP) all in one place—your suite. This means you won’t have to go through the hassle of relocation. Medcenter One is the only place in the region where you’ll find these spacious LDRP suites.

Comfort: Every suite has its own whirlpool tub. These baths can be very effective for managing your pain with early labor. They can also help ease your discomforts after delivery.

Privacy: During your time at Medcenter One, you will have a suite all to yourself with plenty of room for your significant other.

Peace of mind: Birthcenter One is a locked unit of our hospital. So, you can rest easy that you and your newborn will be safe and secure. We also have a comprehensive central monitoring system through OBIX to put our moms’ minds at ease.

Familiarity: Since you will spend your entire stay at Medcenter One in the same suite, you will be able to get to know our wonderful nurses who are trained in the birthing process from start to finish. Consistency of care not only allows you to know your nurse better but also allows the nurses to know you better!
