Adult
volunteers
Requirements
1. Must be age 19 or older.
2. Must complete an application form.
3. Must have a personal interview.
4. Must attend orientation
5. Must have medical clearance for a tuberculosis skin
and Rubella test.
6. Must wear a regulation uniform.
7. Must work a minimum of two hours per week.

expect our volunteers to:
1. Be prompt and dependable
2. Accept supervision gracefully.
3. Maintain a high standard of conduct.
4. Be honest and cooperative.
5. Observe all medical center rules. |

As
an adult volunteer you may:
1. Provide clerical assistance in various departments.
2. Deliver flowers, mail, books and magazines to patients.
3. Read to patients and write letters for patients.
4. Assist in preparing patient supplies, packets and mailings.
5. Direct and escort patients and visitors, and offer
assistance.
6. Assist staff on nursing floors and rehab departments.
7. Assist with special events (open houses, health fairs,
screening clinics and seminars). |
