Junior
volunteers
Requirements
1.
Young men and women must be between 13 and 18 years
old and be in the 8th grade by fall.
2. A consent to volunteer form must be signed.
3. Two written character references.
4. Complete an application form.
5. A personal interview.
6. Medical clearance for tuberculosis skin test and
rubella test.
7. Medical consent for minors by parents/guardians.

As
a junior volunteer you will be required to: |

1.
Wear a regulation uniform.
2. Work a minimum of six (6) hours per month during the
school year and four (4) hours a week during summer vacation.

expect our junior volunteers to: |

1.
Be prompt and dependable.
2. Accept supervision gracefully.
3. Maintain a high standard of conduct.
4. Be honest and cooperative.
5. Observe all medical center rules. |

As
a junior volunteer you may: |
| |
1.
Provide clerical work in various departments.
2. Provide delivery service.
3. Transport patients by wheelchair.
4. Provide reading material to patietns via a bookcart.
5. Assist with special projects.
6. Assist staff on nursing floors and rehab departments.
