Medcenter One was recently named one of the 100 Top Hospitals® Performance Improvement Leaders. Medcenter One is one of two hospitals in North Dakota and the only hospital in western North Dakota to receive this award. |
The annual report, compiled by Thomson Reuters, the market’s leading healthcare quality improvement company, is designed to recognize hospitals that achieve the fastest, most consistent improvement in the nation over a five-year period. The report analyzes improvement of clinical outcomes, patient safety, efficiency, financial stability and growth.
This is the second consecutive year Medcenter One has received the performance improvement award. Medcenter One was also rewarded the 2006 100 Top Hospitals® award for cardiovascular care.
“Performance Improvement Leaders have led their organizations to improve hospital-wide performance consistently, year-over-year, at a substantially faster rate than peers across the U.S.,” said Jean Chenoweth, senior vice president of the 100 Top Hospitals Performance Improvement Program.
