At the Medcenter One Occupational Health Clinic, we take a team approach to managing work-related injuries, including collaboration with medical providers, employers, Workforce Safety & Insurance, return-to-work case managers and individual workers. This process allows companies the ability to lower their workplace injury costs in both coverage premiums and lost productivity. We strive to maintain workers’ health and safety by helping you to keep them working. Companies choosing Medcenter One Occupational Health Clinic as their designated medical provider (DMP), receive timely communication after every visit with a Medcenter One medical provider. A copy of the workability report is sent to the company shortly after the visit and is available immediately online, allowing return-to-work efforts to begin.
Medcenter One Occupational Health Clinic believes in a strong return-to-work/stay-at-work philosophy.

Benefits of choosing Medcenter One Occupational Health Clinic for your workplace injuries:
Functional job analysis (FJA) measures the physicality of the job. This allows the company to create a detailed job description complete with actual weights and other physical exertion levels. It allows us to screen potential workers through functional testing to ensure his/her physical abilities are a match for the position. The FJA also assists the company in transitioning a worker to full duty after injury by matching activity restrictions to appropriate tasks as defined by the job description. Increasing a worker’s physical duties in accordance with that worker’s ability eliminates needless disability, but allows them to do productive work for the company. This decreases the number and severity of claims by decreasing time loss days.
