Appointment information
Sleep study information
Here are some items you will need to bring to your sleep study appointment:
- Sleeping clothes, as you may be more comfortable in your own clothes. (We do have patient gowns available.)
- Medications you take routinely including over the counter medicines like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, TUMS, etc.
- A special pillow and/or blanket, if you think this will help you sleep better. (We do provide pillows and blankets.)
Each sleep room has a queen-sized bed, recliner, TV, toilet and a shower with shampoo, soap, towels and washcloths. There will be some wires attached with paste to your head, chin, chest and legs. (This paste will wash off with soap and water.) The test will finish at about 6 a.m. the next day.
It is important that you are on time for your appointment. Please report to the front doors of Medcenter One approximately 10 minutes before your appointment. If you are running late, cannot keep this appointment or have any questions or concerns, please call the Sleep Center at 701.323.8500 or 1.800.932.8758 extension 8500.
Thank you for your cooperation. Together we will make your test as comfortable as possible.
